Dear Mr. Frick, Five or six of my art students may go with me to New York for the Christmas holiday; and if so would you grant us the very great privilege of seeing your valuable pictures? It would indeed be a treat to me, as well as to the young ladies. Living here after studying a winter in New York and seven years abroad makes me very hungry to see all the truly good pictures that I can. Here Mr. Robert C. Cogden living? I would gladly refer you to him to find out about my work in the Sotuh. However, if you care for it, I could send you a copy of a letter which he wrote our President about my work here after a visit to Mr Cellere. I mention this because I know you
