I hope you will be able to delay a decision on the matter until you have had time to comes over and see if for yourself. There are some other interesting pictures in the house. I was particularly taken with a picture by Quentin Matsys of Holbein's friend the Town Clerk of Antwerp which hangs next to Erasmus and was for a long time considered a work of Holbein. In any other position it might now pass a work of that Master but it cannot stand the test of comparison. Your very truly, James Dunn
