Nov. 12, 19 Mr Henry C Frick 5th Ave & 70th St N.Y.C.

My Dear Mr Frick, Mr & Mrs Ralph Cross Johnson of Washington DC have requested me to ask you if you would extend to them the pleasure of seeing your collection on their next visit to New York, providing it is convenient. Mr Ralph Cross Johnson gave to the National Gallery of Art on last June a very [begin insertion] fine [end insertion] collection of Old Masters, and has remaining in his home an equally fine collection. I expect to be in Washington on next Monday and if I do not have a reply before leaving I will inform him I made the request. Thank you Jonce I. McGurk
