January 26th, 1920.

Gentlemen:- By direction of the Executors of the Estate of Mr. H. C Frick, I am authorized to state that they will pay you $42,000.00 for three Etchings by Rembrandt, in-cluding frames, upon receipt of word from Mr. Frick's family that the Etchings referred to have been delivered in good condition and hung to their satisfaction in the residence at #1 East 0th Street, New York.

The Etchings are as follows and are referred to in your latter of January 9th, and in the affidavit of your Mr. Carstairs bearing same date:--
