Dear Sir Last summer in London I saw at Messrs Conalghi + Obach's among other fruits Rembrandt's Christ Presented to the People, the Large Crucifixion, (both as I remember in first states), and the "Hundred Guilder Print" (as I remember it in a second state). At the time I tried to interest Mr Felix M. Warburg in them. Later, in the Fall, I saw these prints again at Messrs Knoedlers in N.Y. A day or two after that I received a cable from Colnaghi + Obach saying that Mr Warburg had called and asked to have the prints sent to me for examination by him, and that Knoedlers had been requested by cable to do so. The day I received the cable Knoedler's told me they had received a similar cable, and that if the prints should not be taken by an unnamed
