Prides Crossing, Mass., September 3, 1915. Dear Mr. Carstairs: I enclose a letter with its enclosure which may interest you. You might buy these pictures and sell them to Mr. T. F. Ryan; he lives part of the time in Virginia and might be interested in presenting them to some party, and you might make quite a nice turn on them. I would like to present Mr. Lewis Cass Ledyard with a very good Sargent - something really good, if you could come across anything. Everything going extremely well and the outlook for good business the balance of the year very cheerful. With kind regards, Very sincerely yours, Mr. C. S. Carstairs, 15 Old Bond Street, London, England.
