H. C. Frick, Esq., Eagle Rock, Pride's Crossing, MASS., U. S. A.

Dear Mr. Frick, Trust that you had a good return voyage and found plenty of company. No doubt by this time you are installed at Pride's, enjoying the great game of golf at Myopia.

We had a delightful time at Le Touquet. The course was playing splendidly and seemed more attractive than ever. Everyone very much regretted your decision not to be with us, and appreciated your kind thought in providing for our enjoyment. I enclose a cheque for the amount not used.

I also enclose your correspondence with reference to the Addington Golf Club. I have paid €125 for your Bond, which we have charged your account with, and I have put the Bond, together with your Sunningdale Golf Club Bond, in the safe here. They tell me that this course will be as fine as Sunningdale, and its convenience to London will be an agreeable feature.

De Wild has been working on the Holbein ever since you left. It is coming out very beautifully. The table cloth [end of page]
