M. KNOEDLER & CO., 556-558 FIFTH AVENUE, NEW YORK. PARIS, 23 PLACE VENDÔME. LONDON, 15 OLD BOND STREET. CABLE ADDRESSES } NEW YORK, PARIS, LONDON KNOEDLER
October 15, 1914.
Mr. H. C. Frick,
Pride's Crossing, Mass.
Dear Mr. Frick:-
I was very glad to hear through Mrs. Frick that you were
improving. I was afraid that you had been a little too active last week, and that your stay here might have tired you.
As requested by you we hung the two Turner's in the hall, and
they look splendidly. We have had them covered to protect them from the dust.
Though I have not seen it myself, I was told there was an article
in the papers saying that Charlie Carstairs had arrived. It must be another Carstairs, because ours is still in London, and has cabled that he was sailing on the "Lusitania" October 24th.
Tom is back from his vacation, and will be on hand if wanted by
you.
With kind regards, believe me, Sincerely, Roland F. Knoedler
