7 Sept 1909 - 15, Old Bond Street, London, W.

Dear Mr. Frick, We have shipped the Van Dyck "Synders" to-day to go by next Saturday's Steamer from Havre - Tom will advise you of its arrival. It is insured against all risks to Prides and for one week then, which i take it will give you time enough to decide whether you want it or otherwise, it can be insured for a longer time from N.Y if you will be good enough to notify them. The price is $200,000 cash to you which be kind enough not to mention to anyone. I should be glad to have a cable from you as our time is growing short in Europe and as we have such a large sum in the "Snyders" it influences our buying, although at the moment I see nothing to buy. Glad to hear through Roland that you have been playing so much golf and as I expect to sail 23 Oct., hope to have some good Autumn weather and possibly you will take me sometimes to Garden City. With kind regards and looking forward to seeing you Sincerely Yours (Signed) C.S. Carstairs.
