Dear Mr Frick, I enclose you a catalogue of my little exhibition which is quite a success + much admired + has brought in a number of important people in the art world here + I am sure will do us good. The Velasquez I have placed in the position of honor at the end of the gallery with 2 large pictures on either side + you would be surprised, small as it is, how it dominates the entire wall. I trust by the time you receive this it will be your property as well as the Hobbema - The Mrs Fitzherbert by Gainsborough also looks most beautiful + is greatly admired -
