Dear Sir:-

      In reply to your communication of this

day referring to the two paintings by Sir Joshua Reynolds which we sold you on December 31, 1906 for $275,000, as per our invoice of that date, we find that the one, "Portrait of Mrs. Harcourt," (afterwards Countess) was $120,000, and the other one, "Portrait of Selina Lady Skipwith", $155,000.
