Dear Mr Frick, Your various cables to hand Sorry we haven't been able to agree about the Maris, I regret I didn't write you about it in the beginning, but presume I was too engrossed over the Corot. I must ask you not to say anything about the reduction on the Corot, the desire for you to have it and the "prompt cash" decided me to accept your offer. I am sending the picture to Haines? the restorer to be unvarnished and revarnished and won't be able to ship it for 2 or 3 wks. I felt this was best for the picture and have great faith in Haines the restorer here - We are also getting a new frame for it which isn't
