of this letter if you are interested or not I want you above everything to have it, but don't want to neglect a possible chance of selling it underlined:unnecessarily. I am holding the picture for you, until I have time to hear from you - The Jacob Maris "The Bridge" is also Maris' masterpiece and nearly as large as the Corot - The Monticilli is the finest I ever saw- The 2 Troyons are very fine - The Maurers are all fine - This is a charming place with a very good golf course beautifully situated - I had expected to remain here this month but am forced to return to town. You will be glad to know that business at 15 Old Bond St has been extremely good, altogether the best season we have had - With kind regards + trusting you are enjoying your summer + that Mrs Frick has quite recovered I am Yours Sincerely Charles Carstairs

The size of the Corot is 62 x 53 inches -
