(May 14th, 1912 - $9,548.61 Paid Interest for 275 days.)
Jan. 1st, 1913. - Credit against this note $200,000.00 Price of Two Paintings, and allow 5% Interest from Jan 1st, 1913 to Jan 30th, 1913.
Feb 24th, 1913. Above not showing balance of $50,000 returned to M. Knoedler + Co. this day. See Voucher # Marked "Paid". This balance represents past payment for Ptg. by Van Dyck - "Portrait of James Stanley - 7th Earl of Derby + his wife + daughter - $350,000 per bill of Feb 17th, 1913, less cash payment this date - $100,000 + ci. $75,000 Ptg by Velasquez ' "Queen Marianne of Austria" and 2 noted aggregating $175,000 of which etc above $50,000 is a past ?
