104--General Release. --- Montross & Clarke Co., Printers and M'fg Stationers, 51 Nassau St. N. Y. --- To all whom these Presents shall come or may Concern, Greeting. Know Ye, That I, HENRY B. CULVER, of the City, County and State of New York.

for and in consideration of the sum of Six thousand dollars ($6000.00), lawful money of the United States of America to me in hand paid Henry C. Frick of the City of Pittsburgh, State of Pennsylvania the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released and forever discharged, and by these presents do for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, remise, release and forever discharged the said Henry C. Frick his heirs, executors and administrators, of and from all, and all manner of action and actions, cause and causes of auctions, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts reckoning, bonds, bills, specialties covenants, contracts, controversies, agreements, promises, variances, trespasses, damages, judgments, extents, executions, claims, and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, against him I ever had, now have or which I or my heirs, executors or administrators, hereafter can, shall or may have for, upon or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever from the beginning of the world to the day of these presents. more particularly any and all claims for commissions or otherwise in connection with the purchase by said Henry C. Frick of a certain painting by Hans Holbein, the younger, being a portrait of Sir Thomas More from and known as the Huth Holbein.

In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 18th day of June in the year one thousand nine hundred and twelve Sealed and delivered in the presence of Signed Louis Rosenbaum William Watson Smith Henry B. Culver
