Henry C. Frick, Esq., Pittsburgh, Pa. Dear Sir:- We beg to enclose you herewith Express receipt for the three cases of Frames, ex SS "Teutonic", which cases we forwarded to your address by Adams Express Co. in the bond on the 29th ult.

Regarding the case of painting ex SS "La Normandie" we regret to inform you, that a delay occurred in shipping the case, on account of its extraordinary dimension. The Adams Express Co. refused to accept the case, stating that it could not be stored in their car, and the Customs Officer immediately stored the case in the Bonded Warehouse at this City. We, however, have taken immediate steps, calling upon the Adams Express Co., who at last consented to accept the shipment, and we trust that it will go forward this day. Owing to the case being stored in the Bonded Warehouse, an extra expense accrued, the amount of which, however, we are not able as yet to state. Such expense will be collected forward in addition to the amount of $23.-, for which we have sent to you statement under the 27th ult. Yours very respectfully, E.F.
