Mr. Henry C. Frick, Pittsburgh, Pa. Dear Sir:- Confirming our last respects on the 27th inst. we beg to inform you herewith, that the frame for the painting from Paris arrived per SS "Teutonic" via Liverpool, packed in three cases, marked P F 2/4, and which cases we shall forward to your address in bond by Adams Express Co., collecting forward out outlays and charges of $45.-, as per specification enclosed. Messrs. Arthur Tooth & Sons of Paris informed us, that the frame could not be packed in one case, but in three, and that a slight difference had accidentally been made in marking the three cases P F instead of F P. We also beg to enclose you the extract of the original consular invoice dated Paris, Dec. 13th 1900, as the same may be of value to you. Very respectfully yours, E.F.
