Dear Sir, We understand from our Pittsburgh office, that our two shipments of Sept. 5th & 8th have been delivered to you, viz: 1 Ptg. by E. Friant, Chagrin d'Enfants 4.500 1 " " Le Roy, Burglars (Cats) 175 1 " " C. Daubigny, Riverbank, Gloton 17.000 1 Pastel by J.F. Millet, Puy de Dome 5.600 1 Ptg. by G. Morland, White Horse & Man 1 " C. Daubigny, Ducks 12.000 1 " " _ do. _ Ferryboats 12.000 & to-day we have the pleasure of advising you of our shipment for you to our Pittsburgh office of 1 Ptg. by J.B.C. Corot, The Pond 30.000 1 " by Jos. Israels, First Steps 7.000_ & we hope that you will find them all in the desired good condition. Some delay has occurred by the repairing of frames, as we wanted them all as perfect as possible.

We are still waiting for the paintings by Corot "Flowerwreath" Troyon "Normandy Pasture" & the frame for Millet's drawing "Cowherder" & shall let them follow just as soon as possible.

We shall be pleased to hear from you that every thing is to your entire satisfaction.
