H.C. Frick, Esq., 29/5/12. 3.

I have just had a glorious Whitsuntide holiday. Went out to our house at Coombe Wednesday last and played about three rounds of golf every day. I don't see,. however, to have played quite as well since you left, but expect to be prepared to give you a good fight at Myopia next Autumn. Kind regards to Mrs. Frick and Miss Helen, and with the hope that you will have a most pleasant summer, Always sincerely yours, C. S. Carstairs
