NEW YORK, 556 & 558, FIFTH AVENUE. PARIS 23, PLACE VENDÔME. CABLE ADDRESSES KNOEDLER, LONDON. KNOEDLER, NEW YORK. KNOEDLER, PARIS. TELEPHONE 2514 MAYFAIR.
15, OLD BOND STREET, LONDON, W. 30th April 1912.
H. C. Frick, Esq., Hôtel Bristol, PARIS.
Dear Mr. Frick,
Your letter to hand. As I wrote Roland yesterday, the
Rembrandt matter has been settled and everyone seems satisfied.
I note your desire to cancel the sale of the Primitive,
which is perfectly agreeable. I can quite understand your wish to give the purchase of such things careful consideration.
I am very sorry at the thought of not seeing you again for
so long, and trust you will keep well and enjoy Myopia, and develop your golf, as I am anticipating a strenuous contest soon after I reach New York.
Kind regards to mrs. Frick and the balance of your family,
and thanking you for all the nice times you have been instrumental in my having.
Sincerely yours, Charlie Carstairs
