Dear Sir,

                I am extremely obliged

by your favour of even? date, + regret you cannot lunch at Lord Fevershain's. I have written to tell him so, + at the same time have told him that we shall be at his house at 3 p.m. on Wednesday next to see the Rembrandt.

Unless therefore, I hear from you to the contrary I will call for you at the Carlton Hotel soon after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Should you wish me to call for you elsewhere I trust you will let me know, but if I don't hear from you, I will call at the Carlton as above stated. Thanking you very much.
