29, Duke Street, St. James's, London, S.W. Apr. 15th 1912.

H.C. Frick Esq The Carlton Hotel, S.W.

Dear Sir, Since seeing you I have seen the Earl of Feversham, who is at his London house. His Lordship wishes me to say he is most anxious you should visit his Seat Dumcombe Park, + he will do everything in his power to make your visit an enjoyable one. The great sight to be seen on the Estate id the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey, one of the finest in England, they are indeed superb. I send you herewith a book which will show you what places of historical interest are to be seen at Helmsley + Duncombe Park, by which you will see it is worth going many miles to see. People come for thousands of miles to see Rievaulx alone. I might also mention that at York you could see the famous York Minster, one of our greatest Cathedrals. You can take the 10 o'cl train from London arriving at York at 1:40, where his Lordship's Motor would be waiting to take us to Duncombe Park, + of course to see the Rembrandt + Hobbema also, + you can arrive back on London the same evening.
