Pride's Crossing, Massachusetts, July 11, 1908
My dear Mr. Carstairs:
I am just in receipt of yours of the third. Will await arrival of the photograph, although i think that before i should decide to purchase a picture costing so much, i prefer to see it.
Am rather sorry you did not ship the Constable promptly, but i presume it has left by this time. I am rather curious to know who bought the Turner. From an interview of Widener's i see that you have taken a lot of his pictures in exchange.
We are having beautiful weather and everything seems to be going along all right.
