in December in time to meet your note. I have bought what is probably the most important Romney in the world, his famous picture of "Lady Warwick + Children" which comes from the Warwick family. I sent a photograph yesterday. The picture measures 61 x 79 1/2, outside of frame 90 1/2 x 72 1/4 Romney started this picture in April 1787 and finished it in June 1789. The Countess is in white satin dress sitting in a crimson arm chair, The little girl is in a white dress with blue sash and the boy in dark blue coat + buff trousers —It has been exhibited many times in most important exhibitions and was the principal attraction in the Ex of Fair crossed out: Women Children 1895 held at Grafton Gallery – I am reserving it until you get photograph + have time to cable me – The price to you is $200,000.– Don't worry about that part of it and don't offer me less for you will realize you have more than value if you decide to purchase it – Sincerely yours C.S.
