Dear Sir I apologise for my sending the todays-telegram on behalf our Rembrandt picture. This is the reason why: This morning we had the visit of a wellknown Art Dealer from Paris, (sent to us by Dr Boode of Berlin) He made us a very acceptable offer on condition he could have the picture in Paris next week –He told us his offer would fall if not accepted at the beginning of next week – He is preparing an exhibition of several masterpieces and wants to know End of Page 1
