Dear Sir , One of the greatest Works of VAN DYCK – a Masterpiece – from Genoa inserted in ink: , is now here for the Sale underlined: direct to the Buyer end underline, without the expensive intermediary of a Dealer , who generally doubles the price of a Picture . I have brought it from the Genoa Palace, where it has been for the last 300 years . It represents a Gentleman (bareheaded) on horseback in a street of Palaces ; and is in perfect preservation; the colours being crossed out:nsimply splendid . It is a underlined: unique Masterpiece end underline – and in the opinions of the greatest living Italian Artist ^is worth 200.000 dollars . Its size is 9 ft broad and 15 ft high. End of Page 1
