I do not know who put this in the Tribune, nor if it is really true that $250,000 have been offered to Mr. Chamberlyne for the picture but I do know that every dealer in London and New York have tried to buy it and recently the leading dealer of New York (recently knighted) was there, ostensibly to purchase Mrs. Chamberlyne's [end of page 3]
