Dear Mr. Carstairs: Thanks for your note and enclosure. The size of the frame needed for the Gainsborough you will know when I tell you that the canvas measurements of the picture are forty-seven and a half by fifty-seven and three-quarters (47 1/2 x 57 3/4). This has just arrived by cable from London. Yours very sincerely,
