In the gardens of his mansion at Putney. The Gentlemen's portraits, reading from left to right, represent; Sir Joshua Vanneck, the Hon. Thomas Walpole, Master Gerald Vanneck, Master Joshua Vanneck (afterwrds First Lord Huntingfield), and Horace Walpole. The Lady in yellow dress is Mrs Du La Mon, and the other three Ladies are Elizabeth, Anna Maria, and Gertrude Vanneck; the young girl seated on the ground is Margaret Vanneck, afterwards married to the Hon. Richard Walpole, ancestress of Lacy Dorothy Nevill. Signed and Dated, 1752.
