from the Collection of Nose M.? Massey Mainswaring?, Royal Academy Exhibition of Old Masters in 1884. This picture is spoken of in Bryan's Dictionary of Painters and Engravers, P. 232. Vol V under the above title and Mainswaring? is spoken of, too, as being the owner. This article was painting? from 1650 to 1680. He came from Amsterdam supposedly a fearful? of Simone de Vlaiger. Little is known of his life.
