9, Rue Caumartin Paris ~

March 30 1899

Mr. H. C. Frick Dear Sir I received in due terms the draft of 3620 francs enclosed in your letter of February 14th, and I thank you for it. The examples of Thaulow "Winter in Norway" that you have bought is certainly one of the most delicate in tone, and of the most striking affect. My good friend Thaulow has told me of the fine reception you made him, and he brought back to Paris a charming souvenir of his visit to your country. Believe me Yours very truly I. Montaigne

Thaulow (artist) $704.96 "Winter in Norway" -- 123 Red Book folio 47
