Dear Sir We received this morning Mr F.W McElroy\s letter of the 15th Inst., enclosing a cheque for $pounds symbol 3,800 (three thousand eight hundred pounds) for the picture which you purchased from us, for which we are greatly obliged. We enclose the voucher sent with it, which we have duly receipted. We have already handed the painting to Mr R Fry who is superintending the necessary work to put the picture in a condition to resist the climate of America.
