My dear Charles: I am just in receipt of yours of the twentieth. Happened to be in New York on its arrival. I know of nothing at the present time that I could advice you to take hold of. There may, however, be an opportunity within the next few months and I shall not lose sight of what you desire. Regret I will not be able to go abroad this year. Am looking forward to the arrival of the Consta- ble and the Romney. Am glad you think so well of the Constable. I trust you were able to carry out your pro- gramme and do some motoring with that charming party you referred to. We are having a fairly pleasant sum- mer, some warm days, but on the whole, it is very en- joyable.
