There is no evidence of depression in Paris, everyone is gay & it is crowded with Americans & the hotels are all full. Commercialism is relegated to the background & an atmosphere of art makes one realize that pictures etc have a substantial place & a sound footing.
I wish you were here, the Van Dycks look better than ever, even the group looks fine. Mrs. Huntington, Morgan, Widener & many others are here.
