Mr. H. C. Frick,

Dear Mr. Frick,
I enclose you receipted bill for the Van Boskerck. Bob was delighted to hear of the sale of his picture and to know that it had gone to so good a man. You certainly afforded him a great deal of pleasure and in fact pleased everybody all round.
I am sailing Tuesday morning as expected and will look forward to seeing you on the other side.
Very sincerely yours,
Chas. S. Carstairs

Offer for Corot was refused, talked with Mr. B. over phone this P. M. & got him to raise it $1.000. Roland says no good Corots in market whatever
