New York City.
Dear Mr. Frick:
I had the pleasure, together with other member of the Architectural League of New York, of enjoying the hospitality of your house on Thursday last, and I cannot refrain from personally thanking you for the pleasure it give me.
The educational value from the field of art and good taste that the existence of such a house provides for those who are fortunate enough to see it, cannot be over-estimated. You are sincerely to be thanked by the American people, who are sadly in need of education in planning and furnishing their homes, for providing such a perfect example of domestic architecture.
Very truly yours,
Horace B. Mann.
