Dear Sir:-
Your favor of the 4th inst., with certificate No. 4461 for One Hundred (100) Shares of Pittsburg Plate Glass stock, issued in our name, and dividend check of One Hundred Dollars ($100). came duly to hand. The same is in settlement, as arrangement made in Paris with Mr. Carstairs, for the painting by C.F. Daubigny, "VILLAGE DE GLOTON", for which we herewith enclose receipted bill.
We also enclose bills for different transactions that we had the pleasure of having with you during your trip abroad. We have made separate bills, so that the various items can be more easily verified.
