My dear Mr. Carnegie I am interesting myself in a very important invention consisting in the obtaining of petroleum oil and ammonia from coke ovens.-

Would you feel inclined to take up the discovery in the United States?

Some wonderful results have been obtained from some kinds of coal here - Yours faithfully I. Lowthian Bell
