H. C. Frick Esq. My dear Sir,
I sent you per Adams Ex. Co. tonight, two pictures by W. L. Picknell. These paintings were collected by Mr. Chas. S. Smith & I send them on for your approval. The one with meadows & horses ?? ?? his wife seemed to prefer them much. Mr. Picknell SEC'D ?? a medal in last SUMMER'S ?? salon, the only American artist.
The price is $550. each with best wishes for the new year I am
