SULLEY & COMPANY, A. J. SULLEY. J. M. BROWN. TELEGRAMS: "TERBURG", LONDON. TELEPHONE NO 248 REGENT. 159, NEW BOND STREET. W. 4TH May 1914 Dear Sir, I wrote to Dr. James Simon and asked him if he could be tempted to sell his Vermeer, and what he would think of an offer of £50,000. He replies that no offer would tempt him to sell the Vermeer, and that he has already refused an offer of £50,000 several times. Yours faithfully, Arthur J. Sulley H. C. Frick Esq.
