Dear Mr. Fry:

    I note with much interest your favor of the 16th ultimo.
    I recently purchased a Romney [[handwritten above] Lady Milnes] and a Gainsborough [[handwritten above] Hon Frances [?]] - two full length portraits, so I am not in the mood for making any further purchases just at this time, unless it should be something very important.
    Will be very glad if you will keep me advised.
