COPY IN LETTER BOOK.
Eagle Rock, Pride's Crossing, Massachusetts. August 5th, 1907.
My dear Carstairs:- Referring to my cable of yesterday:-
It occurs to me, if your firm needs the further credit I tendered, it would be better to get it through your own bank in N. Y., I agreeing to guarantee as I do at the 1st National.
You do business with the American Express, and if with an other, it might be well to divide it.
It looks at present like tight money this fall, but it may not come, and if the credit is needed it should be arranged now, extending for one year.
Sincerely, (Signed) H. C. FRICK.
