Dear Sir,
The three paintings (1) Mauve (2) Cazin will leave here this afternoon, the frames being put into good order & we hope they will reach you safely.
About the Mauve, we shall be proud of your possessing it among your collection, as we think that you will be. Mr. Cazin's "Pond" Mr. Knoedler wrote, to have it insured for twenty thousand francs (four thousand dollars.)
We enclose receipted bill for the Cazin & a memorandum for the Mauve.
This very instant we received for you a signed artist proof of Rosa Bonheur's "Horsefair" & shall hold it for your further instructions as to framing & delivery. We are now framing for you a presentation photo of your Bouguereau, which your daughter is to receive with Bouguereau's & our compliments.
Hoping for the pleasure of soon seeing you again, we remain
Yours very truly
