Dear Mr Frick,
The Maison Henriette 26 Place Vendome send us a little dress which we are forwarding to you by Mr Grau who sails tomorrow. Sorry to have seen by the Herald you had a bad voyage but no doubt it is forgotten by this time.
You must have been surprised and shocked at all that happened during your week on the ocean. What an unfortunate affair!
We were glad to see the market so strong yesterday, and trust the end of the strike will mean higher figures for steel shares.
The size of the Troyon is Canvas 65 x 45, Frame 85 x 65 inches.
Referring to the prices Mr Forbes has just put upon his Millet pastel I think it ridiculous & prohibitive. The Mauve is also high as he paid 800 pounds for it 5 yrs ago, this he told me and it is the price I remembered Arnold and Tripp asked for it. Of course Mauves are much higher today

but it is rather too dear. There is some sentiment attached to the Bastien LePage which prevents his selling it also the Whistler .
You will see there is a ten inch frame on the Troyon this of course could be modified Don't lose sight of it, it is a great example-
Business continues to be good & we are occupied all day.
