Dear Mr. Frick:-
I have just telephoned to the
French Line, and was told that the "Lorraine,
which is bringing over the Rembrandt,
I understand, is expected at her dock tomorrow
morning at 10 o'clock.
As it is a half holiday, it will be impossible
to get the picture released from the
Custom House until Monday afternoon at the
earliest, and may not be until Tuesday morning.
I thought I would keep you posted.
I wish to renew my thanks for having
postponed sending your pictures to Pride's
until next week. I really do not see how we
could have attended to this, as all hands are
very busy, and notwithstanding that we are

making satisfactory progress, we have still
a great deal to do.
I hope you are enjoying the fine weather.
It feels like Summer here.
With kind regards to Helen, and any persons
I may know around you, believe me,
Sincerely,
SIGNED Roland F. Knoedler
Mr. H. C. Frick,
Pride's Crossing, Mass.
