Dear Mr. Frick.
Sorry
to have to bother you &
take up any of your
valuable time but as I
am naturally particularly anxious
to sail with you & family
& as it is impossible for
me to get a thing on the
Kaiser Wilhelm, I ask
you to promise to stow
me away somewhere as long
as I have a birth SIC or a
place to sleep on. that it
is all I want. & I do not
take too much room at
that! Mr. Rork who is
stopping with me wants to come
too. can you manage both of
us. we will be with you

all. all you can stand
us & I do not hesitate
to say that you will be
satisfied with our good
"manners"! I promise you in
case you cannot sail that
I will stay with your
family until you arrive.
do you think they will want.
I understand Helen & Childs
quite well and I think
Mrs. Frick & myself can
getting quite well.
If there anything good that
you could put me in, I would
be ever so much obliged as
I would like to make about
a couple of thousand dollars
before the 6th of June. is that
possible?
Hoping to have the pleasure
of seeing you soon. & with kindest
regards to your family always
believe me Mr. Frick,
Very sincerely & devotedly
SIGNED Chas. L. Knoedler.
