at the beginning of May wether he can or not put the aforesaid picture on his "Catalogue." – As he gave us his word he should not publish our name, we should have accepted his offer if we had not previously, by the kind mediation of Mademoiselle Ogiz, offered our Rembrandt picture to you for sale –
Being perplexed, I took my auto and went to La Sarraz to ask Mlle Ogiz where I could send you a telegram. I was fortunate enough to find her and she kindly gave me both your telegraphic and prof adress –
Now I sincerely hope your european Expert will be able to come soon and see the picture for, as we said to Mlle Ogiz we should much prefer selling this picture directly to an amateur than through an Art Dealer –
