My dear Mr. Frick,

I fully intended writing you before this, but I have been so very much rushed in business matters, and have been travelling a great deal. This has taken up so much of my time that my mail has got somewhat behind.

I often think about you, and feel that I should so much like to assist you in getting your country house into a state of perfection. It is really too bad that I am not able to be there, for the pleasure of helping you would be to me a very real one. I hear from my people that there is some delay in the matter of delivery, and I sincerely hope that this has not disturbed or inconvenienced you very much. I can fully sympathize with you for I know from my own experience how extremely unpleasant it is to be prevented enbtering one's house by delays which, however unavoidable, are certainly irritating. I must say, however, that I had some fear myself when I was there, that it would not be ready on the 1st July for your occupation; however, I very much hope by this time matters are well in train and you will be shortly able to enter. As I have indicated above, I have not forgotten you while I have been here. This is very far from being the case. I am
