Dear Mr. Gerrity:-
I thank you for yours of the 11th, in regard to the two pictures. Thought there was another Metsu concerned, but perhaps I misunderstood.
At your convenience, could you give us a little information in regard to Thaulow Paintings, which I have never been able to get quite straight in our record?
On February 28th, 1903, a credit was given for painting called "Shenango River, New Hamburg" - $1,500. Where did this picture originally come from?
There were three pictures bought on June 26th, 1899 for $4,000, viz: "Moonlight" (Oil); "Pittsburgh" (Oil); "Pittsburgh" (Pastel). Which of these pictures does Mr. Frick still have? The Pastel was, I think, given away.
There was also a picture called "Bridge of Varona", which appeared on a memorandum of July 25th, 1901. Do you know what became of that?
