November 12th, 1907. Mr. Frick: Received yours enclosing receipt of Metropolitan Museum, which will be filled carefully, and memorandum kept. Understand this to be the painting bought from Shirleys, thought Mr. Fry, for which we forwarded draft to them August 15th, 1907, which draft cost $18,535.50. As to the agreement with the Museum, your annotation on the receipt is all I have, if I understand rightly. Weather cloudy and cool. Respectfully, F.W.M.E
